The world renowned celebrity Chefs Martin Yan, Khai Duong and Lawrence Chu took their exploration of Vietnam’s culinary treasures aboard a Bhaya Cruises vessel to discover the local Ha Long Bay cuisine.
Embarked on an overnight cruise aboard the vessel Bhaya Classic, the three illustrious Chefs prepared some special dishes against the backdrop of Ha Long Bay’s breathtaking scenery, and much to the delight of their fellow guests.
The talented trio enjoyed the scenic Ha Long Bay seascapes and outstanding onboard services while also making an excursion by bamboo raft to a floating fishing village in search of the treasures of local Vietnamese recipes. Even master chefs must listen and learn, and indulge in a little hands-on instruction from the locals, if they wish to unlock the secrets local cuisines. The master chef’s visit proved a valuable opportunity for all participants to share and experience the diversity of their cultural and culinary traditions. “I had a terrific time and was very impressed with my Bhaya Cruise. Your knowledge of the culture, the places you introduced us to, with so many interesting activities. And people, all willing to share their passion, whether it was the tour on the Bay, or the caves, or on board, the food, the services, and you have a talented young Chef on board”, declared Chef Martin Yan.
A first Bhaya cruise for Chef Martin Yan and the second for Chef Lawrence Chu, this was also Chef Khai Duong’s second tour of Ha Long Bay with Bhaya Cruises. Part of his Culinary Exploration Tours, the presence of these world famous Chefs on the Bhaya Cruises tour is sure to showcase the charm of Vietnamese nature, people and cuisine to the world.
