NEW SAFETY POLICY FOR CRUISE OPERATORS IN HALONG BAY
Since June 2011, the Halong Authority has tightened control over all its operating tourist junks and vessels. New, stricter regulations regarding Safety Equipment have been issued. All boats are now required to have Global and Fire-fighting Systems, GPS and are expected to have sophisticated accident prevention measures in place.
Bhaya Cruises is proud to be among first operators that’s met these exacting standards. Being the largest operator in the bay for the luxury segment, all Bhaya vessels operate under strict professional and daily technical and maintenance-schedules. Each schedule includes regular monthly and bi-annual routine maintenance and annual dry-docking to ensure that the standards of seaworthiness and accommodation are met. All vessels are equipped with safety facilities in strict compliance with governmental regulations.
The vessels are managed by experienced captains and professional crew team. The staff has acquired training certificates accredited by the relevant Vietnamese Government Authority. All our efforts have secured us approval and we’ve been granted a permanent registration certificate to operate in Halong Bay.
